THE WORKING DAY

A day's work is 8 hours [excluding equity contracts] including a 1 hour lunch break [Shops act, 1950]. Normal rates apply to bookings 0900 and 1800 hours.

OVERTIME

1.The overtime rate is one and half times the normal rate between 1800 and 2400 hours.
2.A special rate is negotiated for night work between 2400 and 0900 hours.
3.Saturdays: One and a half times the normal rate.
4.Sundays/Bank Holidays: Double the normal rate.

POSTER & SHOWCARD FEES/PACKAGING & RECORD COVERS/SWING TICKETS

Usually charged at 4 times the normal rate plus the original fee. It is the client's responsibility to negotiate at the time of the booking an additional rate payable for each of the above categories.

VIDEO

For all videos a daily rate will apply, with a possible buy-out fee, dependent on usage. Again, it is the client's responsibility to negotiate at the time of the booking.

EXCLUSION FEES

A special fee negotiated when the work is in conjunction with the product, which precludes work for competing products. It is the client's responsibility to check whether conflicting work has been done, if a model advertises a product he/she is able to work for any competitor unless an exclusion fee has been negotiated.

TV BOOKINGS

As per British Actors Equity Association

PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS

Provisional Bookings will be automatically cancelled if they are not confirmed within 24 hours of the proposed booking, or if a definite booking is offered and the provisional booking cannot be confirmed. The Agency will of course always give the client the first option to confirm the booking before taking any other booking.

WEATHER PERMITTING BOOKINGS

First cancellation, no fee [unless the model arrives at a booking through the client's failure to cancel in time]. Second cancellation - half fee.

CANCELLATIONS

48 hours notice: half the fee. 24 hours notice: full fee.

TEST & EXPERIMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY

A photographer is not permitted to use test and experimental photographs for commercial purposes unless specific arrangements have been made before the photographic session.

TRAVEL

Travel expenses apply for any journey out of Sheffield. Travel time will be charged as well as expenses at £5 per hour for journeys over a forty-mile radius.

HANDLING CHARGE

10&percent; on all model fees plus VAT at the current rate will be added by the agency to all bookings. All agency commissions are included in the total fee.

PAYMENT

In all cases the client responsible for commissioning the work will be invoiced and solely responsible for payment [unless otherwise agreed at time of booking]. All fees to be paid within 30 days of invoice.

COMPLAINTS

Any cause for complaint should be reported when it arises to the Agency at the time of the booking. Complaints cannot be considered in retrospect.

As agents, we act for and on behalf of our models and whilst making every endeavour to provide a satisfactory and efficient service we cannot ultimately be held responsible for a model's conduct on an assignment.

We reserve the right to negotiate within the structure of these terms and conditions.
